The Hotel Ilaria and the Residenza dell'Alba are in the center of Lucca, inside the city walls the Renaissance. Approaching to a medieval door and overlooking a park, under a majestic plane tree, enjoy a spectacular architectural setting. The hotel in the historic center, near the Convention Center S. Micheletto and conference rooms adjacent to the beautiful frescos of the Villa Bottini, allows a wide range of solutions for the organization of meetings and business meetings. It has two function rooms: the Sala Ilaria, in the home, and the Sala dell’Annunziata, built in an old chapel. The Hotel Ilaria is the ideal place for a stay of charm or a business meeting in a space of light and green designed by history.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
