The various venues within our Convention Center allow event organizers to design meetings for their clients that cover even the smallest detail, with successful results—without leaving aside our delicious menu options for a healthy diet. Streamlined stations provide paper, pens, and beverages to keep everyone’s individual work area neat and clear. You can feel good about Westin meetings with thoughtful “Green” features, such as energy-efficient light bulbs, double-sided meeting pads, and water pitchers to replace water bottles and reduce waste. Our twenty event rooms and five informal meeting spaces are located on the 3rd and 4th floors and come equipped with the highest audiovisual technology. The Limatambo Ballroom is the largest hotel ballroom in Peru, with a capacity of 1,600 guests.

From Jorge Chavez International Airport, the hotel is approximately 50 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. The most convenient way to reach the hotel is by taxi or a ride-hailing service such as Uber or Cabify. Head east on Elmer Faucett Avenue and continue onto La Marina Avenue. Then take Javier Prado Avenue towards San Isidro. The Westin Lima Hotel is located at Calle Las Begonias 450, near the intersection with Javier Prado Avenue, in the heart of the San Isidro business district. The Historic Centre of Lima, known as the “Ciudad de los Reyes” (City of Kings), is located in the Rimac valley, and was founded by Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro in January 1535 on the territories led by the Chiefdom of Rimac. Lima was the political, administrative, religious and economic capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru and the most important city of the Spanish dominions in South America. The city played a leading role in the history of the New World from 1542 to the 18th century when the creation of the Viceroyalties of New Granada (1718) and of La Plata (1777) gradually put an end to the omnipotence of the oldest Spanish colony on South America. The Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima is currently the only museum in the city of Lima specialized in the promotion of modern and contemporary art. Founded in early 2013, the museum is located on land granted under concession by the Municipality of Barranco. It features a modernist-style building designed by Peruvian architect Frederic Cooper Llosa, with three main modules corresponding to the three galleries where the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions are displayed. Large windows overlook a reflecting pool, emphasizing the concept of an island. An extensive green area, freely accessible to the public, complements the museum’s spaces. MAC Lima aims to be an institution connected to its urban environment and to the sensibilities and debates of its time, allied with the artistic community and open to a diverse audience. El Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima es en la actualidad el único museo de la ciudad de Lima especializado en la difusión del arte moderno y del arte contemporáneo. Fundado a inicios del 2013, el museo se encuentra situado en un predio cedido en concesión por la municipalidad de Barranco. Posee un edificio de corte modernista diseñado por el arquitecto peruano Frederic Cooper Llosa, con tres módulos principales que corresponden a las tres salas donde están dispuestas la colección y las exposiciones temporales, y grandes ventanales que dan al espejo de agua y acentúan el concepto de isla. Una extensa área verde de acceso libre para el público complementa los espacios del museo. El MAC Lima apunta a ser una institución articulada con su entorno urbano y con las sensibilidades y debates de su tiempo, aliada con la comunidad artística y abierta a la diversidad de públicos.

In this church, Jude the Apostle is venerated. At the feast of Saint Jude Tadeus a one and a half ton weighing silver stand is carried round in procession by 40 people, starting from the convent. Does The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center have a strategy that focuses on the elimination and diversion of waste (i.e. plastics, papers, cardboard, etc.)? If yes, please elaborate on your strategy of elimination and diversion of waste.
Yes, we have two programs that allow us to divert waste from landfills. On the one hand, we have a food rescue program that consists of recovering food fit for human consumption from the buffet (with their respective guidelines and food safety procedures) and donating it to the Food Bank of Peru to benefit various organizations with beneficiaries in a state of food vulnerability. Additionally, at Westin we have a solid waste management program in alliance with the social enterprise Sinba, which collects reusable waste such as plastic, glass, cardboard, etc. every day to convert them into new inputs in one of its plants. Finally, the organic waste they also collect is used to produce compost and animal feed in their biofactory.

Yes, Marriott cares greatly about every guest's experience and takes hygiene and sanitation very seriously. Marriott has established strict standards of cleanliness for all of its hotels that either meet or exceed public health department regulations.
