The Las Vegas Marriott is Gold Leed Certified and features 4,250 square feet of flexible meeting and event space along with dedicated event planning and creative catering teams with experience organizing small breakout groups to elaborate full-service banquets. Audio/visual equipment, film and overhead projectors, TVs, microphones and more can all be provided, while a 24-hour self-service business center onsite can be utilized for any last-minute needs. Steps away from The West Hall in Las Vegas Convention Center and blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. The past is alive in this museum. You'll find everything from fossils to an animated 35-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex right out of the time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. As for more recent monsters, there is a 3,000-gallon aquarium with sharks that seem to be waiting for dinner. The learning process is enhanced with multimedia and hands-on displays, as well as live and mounted animals. One of the most popular displays contains live insects, including giant cockroaches. This is a wonderful spot at the MGM Grand to spend an hour or two gazing at the lions and cubs in their multi-level, state-of-the-art showcase and natural habitat. These pampered cats are housed off-site and rotated every few hours, so you get to see a variety of the 30 or so MGM lions. There's also a gift shop, with lots of fun toys, stuffed animals and clothing. A portion of the proceeds goes to organizations dedicated to the preservation of lions.

A permanent canopy has been constructed to cover the casino-lined street with two million lights and a state-of-the-art sound system. The special shows projected on the canopy ceiling last for approximately seven minutes.
