Located just 18 miles from London, our idyllic country estate is the perfect hideaway for a creative event or celebration of any size. Our bright, beautiful spaces with natural day light open out onto perfectly manicured gardens. With a choice of 16 flexible spaces, multiple breakout rooms and up to 214 bedrooms, The Grove offers an inspiring setting. A short stroll through the grounds, Sequoia spa is a serene oasis. Lose yourself in a maze of relaxation, with facilities including the inky black mosaic-lined swimming pool, sauna, steam room and vitality pool. If looking to enjoy outdoors, our heated outdoor pool is open during the warmer months. We have a vast selection of activities on-site, from a competitive round of archery to a session of laser clay pigeon shooting, we have plenty to get your team bonding. From a theatre of international cuisine at The Glasshouse to elevated British dishes at The Stables, Sushi in The Lounges to seasonal pop ups, dining at The Grove promises options aplenty - each just as tempting.

Getting Here

Directions by car: Clockwise on the M25 Leave at Junction 19, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the third exit (A411 Hempstead Road towards Watford). After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. Anti-clockwise on the M25 Leave at Junction 20, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the second exit (A411 Hempstead Road towards Watford). After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. North on the M1 Leave at Junction 5 and take the third exit (A41 to Aylesbury). After approximately a mile, you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit (again the A41 to Aylesbury). After nearly two miles, you will come to a roundabout, take the first exit. After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. South on the M1 Leave at Junction 6. At the t-junction at the end of the slip road, follow the road round to the left, following signs for North Watford A405. After approximately 1 1/2 miles, at a large roundabout, take the second exit (A41 to Aylesbury). At the next roundabout take the first exit. After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. Upon arrival our concierge team are here to help. Let us unload and valet park your car as you check-in, before escorting you and your luggage to your bedroom. Directions by train: It’s just 16 minutes from London Euston to Watford Junction, which also has key mainline train services to Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly. It’s a 10 minute journey by taxi from the station to The Grove – either jump in a cab outside the station or phone us ahead and we can arrange for a private car to meet you. Chiltern Railways run a service from London Marylebone to Rickmansworth station. A taxi or private car (booked with us) will take about 15 minutes. Directions by boat: The Grand Union Canal runs straight through our parkland. Allow 8 hours from Regents Park in London. Directions by helicopter: We have a helipad at The Grove, but it needs to be booked ahead.
