About us

“Creativity does not exist without dreams. The capacity to dream enabled us to create a hotel that stimulates all the senses” – Pierre-Yves Rochon, Interior Design Principal Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile. Since 2002, Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile has been the gathering place in Chicago for conferences, meetings and social events. Designed by renowned French architect Jean–Paul Viguier, he envisioned the 32-floor prism of glass housing 10 meeting rooms with more than 10,000 square feet of sophisticated event accommodations as a bride to compliment the nearby John Hancock Center. Each of our 415 guestrooms and suites offer Sofitel’s patented SoBed mattress system and Hermes Bath & Body amenities in suites. Other amenities’ include Wi-Fi supplying up to 5 mbps of bandwidth, Bose Wave music system, oversized en-suite with separate tub and shower, fully stocked mini-bar, as well as Nespresso in suites. Enjoy SO Fit, the hotel fitness center, to loosen up after a long day of meetings. CDA, the property’s lobby-level restaurant, is a neighborhood meeting place that features a communal ambiance and Mediterranean-inspired shared plates. Le Bar is our stylish modern downtown Chicago bar, features floor to ceiling glass walls and an inviting atmosphere. Inspired by the hotels architecture, crafted by French Architect Jean-Paul Viguier, the design and floor plan utilizes modern lines and bold shapes. Luxurious leather textures and unexpected faux fur throw pillows pair with sleek lines and metal accents promising an unrivaled cocktail and dining experience.
