About us
Situated close to junction 35 of the M4 the Maerdy Hotel and Conference Centre is in the ideal location for the developing business area of Bridgend. A number of important industrial estates lie within easy access of the hotel making it an ideal site for accommodating business personnel and for hosting conferences and off-business training sessions. Being almost equi-distance from Cardiff and Swansea and within easy reach of the beautiful Heritage Coast the Maerdy Hotel is an excellent site for leisure stop-overs especially for the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Village. Catering fully for the needs of our guests each of the 24 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms are equipped to a high level of comfort. All rooms have colour TV, radio, telephone and hospitality tray. The restaurant and breakfast room offers a varied menu with good food to compliment your stay in the hotel. We have the capability of housing up to 200 people for functions meals. A range of specially equipped rooms can cater for up to 200 and as few as 10 persons. Full conference facilities exist and the staff are expert in providing the total support required to make such events successful. Exhibition facilities are offered extending the capability of the Maerdy Hotel to cater comprehensively for business functions.
