About us

Located in the heart of Hamilton, the center of Bermuda’s business industry, the Hamilton Princess is perched on the edge of Hamilton Harbor, giving incredible ocean views to our guests and events. The hotel’s unique location offers guests the best of all worlds: a short walk into town, breath-taking water views at the hotel and, just a short ride away on one of the resort’s iconic pink jitneys, one of Bermuda’s most beautiful stretches of surf at the exclusive Princess Beach Club. The historic hotel offers 380 rooms, including 63 suites, all of which have been recently renovated, offering guests stylish, urban luxury, in addition to more than 24,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. The newly renovated Princess Ballroom and Regency Terrace offer a bespoke backdrop for unparalleled event experiences. Guests will find themselves immersed in pop culture, with the hotel’s incredible collection of contemporary art leading the way in the current trend of hotel art collections. With pieces by Ai Weiwei, Andy Warhol, Banksy, KAWS, Roy Lichtenstein and Yayoi Kusama scattered throughout the hotel, there’s a something to discover down every hallway. The property makes the most of its stunning surroundings with light, airy spaces and wide panoramic views of the city and of the water. Most of the rooms are graced with spacious balconies or terraces, the perfect setting to unwind after a long day with a classic Bermudian cocktail or in-room dining. Those visiting Hamilton Princess & Beach Club are spoilt for choice when it comes to their dining options: 1609 (Bermuda's only over-the-water dining experience), Crown & Anchor, the Duchess Café and Gelateria and the Marina Bar. In addition, there is the Princess Beach Club Kitchen, available during the season for lunch. Guests at the hotel can enjoy an exclusive oasis at the hotel’s members-only Beach Club. Protected from the wider ocean by a shallow inlet, guests can delight in the tranquil waters of the bay, make the most of the Tiki bar and enjoy the Instagrammable in-water and beach hammocks. During the summer season, freshly made food can be ordered straight from your sun lounger and special events can make the most of the stunning sunsets and ethereal lighting on offer. Bermuda boasts some of the most incredible beaches and blue waters in the world: make the most of them by hiring a jet ski, kayak or a Boston whaler to explore or snorkel through the incredible reefs and wrecks. Those who want an adrenaline rush can even arrange for a water skiing or parasailing adventure - all available from a concessionaire on site. Extend your relaxation with a visit to Exhale Spa and indulge your whole being: body, mind and spirit. You can unwind with an indulgent treatment, reinvigorating fitness class or gentle yoga session – all with vista views over the Marina and Spa Pool. We look forward to seeing you soon at the iconic Pink Palace in beautiful Bermuda!

One of Bermuda's many impressive historic forts to explore. Located at the northern tip of St George and overlooking the ocean, St Catherine fort stands between the St Catherine Beach on one side and Achilles Bay on the other side. One of the most impressive forts in the island, St. Catherine fort has many historic exhibits, artifacts, and a well preserved interior. Surrounded by a dry moat and accessed by a drawbridge, the fort has a large number of tunnels, towers, redoubts and ramparts. In 1609, the ship Sea Venture of Sir George Somers was wrecked on a reef nearby. The entire crew came ashore where the St. Catherine fort now stands. They actually started the first settlement in Bermuda.
