Organizer: Green Key is a program of the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education). In Germany, the DGU (German Society for Environmental Education) is responsible for implementing the campaign. Objective: The aim of the program is to develop and manage an environmental label focusing on environmental and sustainability aspects in hotels. Green Key is a certification program aimed at raising awareness among owners, employees, and guests regarding their potential for environmental and sustainability aspects in their immediate (natural) environment, with the perspective of taking active action.
