Additional details

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, located at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard, first opened its doors in May of 1927. Since hosting the First Academy Awards in 1929, The Hollywood Roosevelt has become both a landmark attraction and a popular destination for locals and tourists from around the world. The hotel, which was named after United States President Theodore Roosevelt, was conceived in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. In its early years, the Hollywood Roosevelt played host to countless icons: Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard among others. The hotel’s history and fame has lent itself to a legendary reputation, which has inspired movie-makers and film directors to set their movies within the hotel’s storybook backdrop. In 1988, famed British painter David Hockney completed a multi-million dollar mural painted on the bottom of the Tropicana Pool, which has since been hailed as one of Los Angeles’s greatest artistic and architectural marvels. Both the hotel and the pool have been designated Historic-Cultural Monuments by the City’s Cultural Heritage Commission. Having undergone a 25 million dollar renovation, the hotel sets the scene for a luxurious Hollywood experience. Interiors by award-winning design team Yabu Pushelberg sit alongside original Spanish Colonial Revival Style features and details, offering guests a glimpse at its storied past. New in-room amenities include: - Smart TVs with in-room Casting - Cast your Netflix, YouTube, Pandora or other favorite cast-enabled app - Over 70 FTG channels including HBO - Bluetooth connectivity (*in most Tower rooms) Valet Parking is available at the hotel. Visit the Hollywood Roosevelt with ease thanks to our valet service. Hotel Website: https://www.thehollywoodroosevelt.com/
