VISIT DENVER
Why Choose Our Destination?
Welcome to Denver, where 300 days of sunshine, a thriving cultural scene, chef-driven, Michelin-rated dining, diverse neighborhoods and urban excitement combine to make the world's best meeting destination. A vibrant city at the base of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Denver is consistently rated as one of the best places to work, live and play. And the reasons that make Denver a great place to reside are the same reasons why it’s a great place to meet. Denver International Airport (DEN), is the country's third busiest airport (Dec, 2024). DEN has the second largest domestic network and growing international service with more than 220 nonstops and more than 1,800 daily flights. A recently completed expansion added 39 new gates and other improvements, allowing DEN to be the largest airport presence for three different carriers; United, Southwest, and Frontier Airlines. Once here, the A Line train will whisk your attendees directly from DEN to Denver Union Station, a hip transportation, dining, shopping and entertainment hub. The station is within walking distance of chef-driven restaurants, breweries, museums, theaters and more than 12,500 hotel rooms. Recent hotel openings include the 263-room Hyatt Centric, as well as a 216-room Thompson Denver by Hyatt and a 140-room ViB by Best Western Hotel & Resorts. Denver is also rapidly growing to meet the needs of larger meetings and conventions. The Colorado Convention Center recently completed a major expansion, including the Bluebird Ballroom, an 80,000 sf multi-function space, plus the addition of expansive new pre-function and service space that includes an outdoor, rooftop terrace. Both the pre-function and outdoor event spaces have spectacular, unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains and city skyline, allowing event attendees to take advantage of Denver's iconic panoramas. More spectacular views can be found on the patios and rooftops of Denver’s chef-driven restaurants, including those in historic Larimer Square and at Avanti F&B, part of the city’s recent boom of food halls and gourmet markets. Denver's dining scene was recently recognized by the Michelin Guide - the global leader in restaurant ratings - with more than two dozen Denver restaurants receiving some form of award, including the city’s first three restaurants to receive a prestigious Michelin Star.
