L'Auberge is situated on 5.2 acres of gracefully landscaped grounds with a private pathway to one of the best beaches in Southern California. Outdoor event space includes the Pacific Terrace above the pool with a panoramic view of the ocean, and the Sunset Terrace, which is often used for group meals and cocktail parties. The many features of the city of Del Mar itself are also used as a backdrop for group events - like the popular L'Auberge Lobster Broil at nearby Seagrove Park overlooking the glittering Pacific or the Beach Party Extravaganza under the stars at Powerhouse Park.
