Das Star Inn befindet sich in York, England. Die Cross House Lodge ist ideal für Familien- oder Firmenfeiern gelegen, die normalerweise die gesamten 8 Doppelzimmer des Hotels belegen und von privaten Speisen im Wheelhouse oder gegenüber im Star profitieren würden. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Tagungen, aber auch für Gruppen, die Aktivitäten in ihren Besuch einbeziehen. Das einzigartige Hotel mit acht Schlafzimmern des Stars liegt buchstäblich auf der anderen Straßenseite vom Pub. Alle acht Zimmer sind sehr individuell, viele mit skurrilen Details. Das Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge ist für standesamtliche Trauungen und zivile Partnerschaftszeremonien lizenziert, an denen bis zu 50 Personen teilnehmen. Die Gäste können vor und nach der Zeremonie entweder in der Lounge oder auf der Terrasse und den Rasenflächen westlich der Lodge entspannen. Das Mittag- oder Abendessen an der Rezeption für Gruppen mit bis zu 40 Sitzplätzen kann entweder im Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge oder im Restaurant at The Star abgehalten werden. Für intimere Zusammenkünfte steht der Private Dining Room im The Star für bis zu zehn Personen zur Verfügung. Für größere Empfänge mit über 40 Gästen können in der Cross House Lodge Festzelte errichtet werden.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
