Die Tumlare Corporation wurde 1972 mit Hauptsitz in Kopenhagen und einem unterstützenden Büro in Stockholm gegründet. 1976 ermöglichte es Tumlare aufgrund des zunehmenden Verkehrs von Japan nach Skandinavien, ein Verkaufsbüro in Japan zu eröffnen. Von da an dauerte es nur 2 Jahre, bis Tumlare der erste Reiseveranstalter mit eigenen Büros in allen drei skandinavischen Ländern war. 1992 eröffnete Tumlare als erster internationaler Reiseveranstalter ein Büro in Moskau. Die Expansion wurde mit der Eröffnung eines weiteren Betriebsbüros in Budapest fortgesetzt, um das wachsende Geschäft in Osteuropa zu unterstützen, sowie Betriebsbüros in Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Prag, Wien und seit Kurzem auch in Tallinn. Heute ist Tumlare stolz darauf, an allen unseren Reisezielen eine lokale Vertretung anzubieten.
