About us

Das Borgo San Rocco Resort verdankt seinen Namen der gleichnamigen historischen Stadt in Savoca. Es befindet sich zwischen den Kirchen S. Nicolo und S. Maria in Cielo Assunta wie ein Juwel in einem eleganten Schmuckkästchen. Das Resort verfügt über 21 Zimmer, die durch eine Renovierung mit sehr hochwertigen Materialien erhalten wurden. Das Resort erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von etwa 20.000 Quadratmetern zwischen wildem Grün und Einrichtungen. Das Borgo San Rocco Resort bietet die Möglichkeit, das nahe gelegene Philharmoniezentrum in Savoca zu nutzen, in dem kulturelle Initiativen wie Ausstellungen und Konzerte stattfinden. Das Gebäude wurde unter Umgestaltung einer alten, entweihten Kirche errichtet, wobei besonders auf die Akustik geachtet wurde. Der Raum bietet Platz für bis zu 100 Personen in einem architektonischen Holzwerk in Form eines Gefäßkiels.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
