Lagoon & Sunset Rooftop Pool Villas – The resort’s first overwater villas are gently placed in the crystal-clear lagoon, just steps away from the beach. The spacious bedroom features a king bed and extends to an outdoor shower and whirlpool bathtub, while a private solarium offers a sunset-view heated plunge pool. Beachfront Lanai Pool Suites – Sitting upon the sugar sand beach of Mayakoba and featuring unhindered views of the shimmering sea, the exquisitely appointed ground floor one-bedroom suite offers a direct access to the beach just by sliding its stained glass, plus unique amenities. Beachfront Terrace Pool Suite - This beachfront suite offers the option of an alongside terrace allowing exclusive walking access to the beach, where you will be able to experience the ocean scenery from your heated plunge pool. Equipped with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower in the patio, this suite will provide the ultimate beach experience during your holiday. Oceanfront Balcony Pool suite - Awake every morning overlooking the ocean as the suns rays indulge through the frameless window. Step away from your bedroom into your balcony on the side and splash into your private plunge pool, while enjoying a tropical front view of the carribbean. Electric buggies are available to transport you around the complex, and each villa has a bicycle for every guest so you can cycle around too. Highly recommended is the cookery course you can do at El Pueblito, a small village square within Mayakoba Resort, I have posted a review on my blog for this wonderful experience with the lovely Chef Karla. You can add the cost to your hotel bill. There were lots of facilities I did not get a chance to try as our group was out and about but this is one hotel I would love to come back to."
