About us

Borgo dei Conti ist ein bezauberndes Resort, das seine jahrhundertealte aristokratische Geschichte mit modernen Konzepten von Gastfreundschaft und Eleganz kombiniert hat. Ein echtes Dorf in der Weite seines 20 Hektar großen Parks, das aus den Gebäuden Villa und Colonica besteht, in denen unsere 55 Zimmer untergebracht sind, die in 4 verschiedene Typologien unterteilt sind. Das Restaurant „La Limonaia“ wurde aus dem alten Ballsaal und den ursprünglichen Dèhors aus dem 19. Jahrhundert erbaut. Es bietet nationale und regionale Gerichte, die unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Jahreszeiten und der Frische unserer lokalen Produkte zubereitet werden.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
