About us

Am 4. Oktober 2018 wurde Maxime zu neuem Leben erweckt. Das ehemalige Kabarett von 1949, in dem einst renommierte Nachrichtenagenturen untergebracht waren und um die Jahrhundertwende zu einer Ikone des Nachtlebens von Lissabon wurde, steht auch heute noch Künstlern und allen offen, die unsere Stadt erleben möchten. Wir haben uns unsere Vergangenheit mit dem gleichen kühnen Ehrgeiz zurückerobert, der einst unsere Vorgänger geprägt hat. Die alten Redaktionen machen nun Platz für 75 Räume und laden dazu ein, in einer historischen und intimen Umgebung neue Geschichten zu erzählen. Und die berühmte Bühne, auf der so viele Talente geboren wurden, hat ihr Licht nicht gedimmt. Ganz im Gegenteil: Es hält sie am Leben, heute das älteste und einzige Kabarett in Lissabon. Am Tisch gönnen wir uns die Aromen eines nostalgischen, alten Lissabon, das unsere regionale Gastronomie widerspiegelt. Sind wir mutig? Vielleicht, aber vor allem sind wir wirklich stolz auf unsere Vergangenheit und offen für das, was die Zukunft bereithält.
