To get to Sunshine Mountain Lodge, you will need to ride our scenic Sunshine Gondola. Our hotel is situated in the heart of the Rockies at 7,200 ft. As you load the gondola please have your ticket ready and visible so it can be scanned by our gondola team. A gondola attendant will help you load your gear. Our Sunshine Gondola will carry you up an elevation of 1,639 feet as you travel 4.5 km into the Canadian Rockies in our spacious 8-passenger cabins. Our gondola experience is a stunning 15-20-minute ride through the Rockies. We recommend you dress warm and enjoy the views. Please note, our hotel is located at the second stop. In our Village area (top station), you’ll find the majority of our services. Think of the village as our core. It’s in our village area that you’ll find our Sunshine Mountain Lodge, our Ski & Snowboard School, our Salomon Rental Tent, Trappers Saloon, Sunshine Sports, and a variety of other food and beverages options. When skiing Sunshine, you’ll notice that many of our lifts fly out of our village area. Our ski lifts have been designed to allow you to ski and explore as much of our 3,500 acres of terrain as possible. With many lift leading to other slopes. If you’re new to Sunshine be sure to download our Sunshine App, and to pick up a Trail Map to familiarize yourself with the slopes. If you need assistance at the lifts, we encourage you to ask the lifty for help. Our Ski Lifts Run Daily Until 4:00 PM (4:30 PM during spring time – late March to early May, approximately).
