Founders Lawn

This beautiful, private lawn space is located just outside Founders Hall and beneath historic Norfolk Island Pine trees planted when the famed San Diego hotel was first built in 1888. One of the towering trees had the honor of being the world's first electrically lit outdoor Christmas tree in 1904. The lawn and Founders Hall are adjacent to the iconic Victorian building, with magnificent Queen Anne architecture and lush greenery as your backdrop.
