El nuevo centro comunitario de Petteril Bank se inauguró oficialmente en octubre de 2005, como parte del proyecto de ampliación de la escuela, de modo que todos los socios locales (Petteril Bank School, Carlisle South Sure Start, Little Luvs y el Centro Comunitario) estuvieran todos bajo el mismo techo, lo que facilitó el trabajo en asociación por el bien de la comunidad. El centro está arrendado por el Ayuntamiento de Carlisle y administrado en asociación con la comunidad local. El salón para jóvenes y comunitarios es una sala de usos múltiples que incluye clases prenatales, sesiones de clubes juveniles, bingo para jubilados, reuniones de clubes, cursos, etc.
