About us
Strand Hotel has old ancestries. The first part of the hotel was built at the same place as the hotel is today in year 1900, at the same time as the seaside-epoch. Wealthy people came to Bornholm to rest and to enjoy the pleasant climate. Strands present activity is based on a mixture between conferences and enjoyment. During the summer we are the metropolis of south-east Sweden with live performance on our after beach. Several popular bars and one of the coolest night clubs in Sweden! The remaining part of the year we focus on conference activities. Strand Hotel has single rooms and family rooms with wonderful sea view and a suite with private sauna and bubble bath. Many of our rooms have balconies facing the sea. All our rooms have cashboxes, for storage of laptop and valuables, free of charge. Included in the room rates is entrance to our 25-meter swimming pool and free access to Internet in the lobby area. We are renounced for small exclusive meetings as well as colorful, major functions up to several hundred participants. Our meeting and conference facilities are designed to help and stimulate minds and ideas. The objective is to make every event successful, memorable and rewarding. We organize a range of activities to stimulate the conference. For example teambuilding, business adventure, boat- and bike trips and different sport activities.
