The Rex Hotel at Whitley Bay is perfect for the young and young at heart. There has been a total overhaul of the entertainment facilities at this hotel with 3 of the most exciting modern bars and a nightclub situated within the hotel, the nightclub is open Thursday - Saturday plus Sundays on Bank Holiday Weekends from 10:00pm to 3:00am. The restaurant offers stunning sea-views and equally impressive dining. Northumbria itself is brimming with history and natural beauty. With over 40 miles of heritage coastline, magnificent scenery and many historical sites, including 16 castles, it has something to offer for everyone. The Rex Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore this amazing county.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
