About us
The hotel was opened in the middle of January 2009. We have 52 rooms and 8 suites. 2 of them are adapted for disabled. You will find at your disposal a relaxation area with magnificent views, a gym, a restaurant with 110 seats and conference rooms for large and small groups. Hornavan Hotel is beautifully situated next to, and named after Lake Hornavan, Sweden’s deepest lake. It is 226 meters deep and stretches 70 kilometers from Arjeplog to Jaekkvikk and holds no less than 400 islands. A new corridor with 13 new rooms will be available in the end of January. It’s very exciting and magical how our business develops. The roof is lifted down on the ground, the walls will be attached and then the roof will be up again! Our fantastic builders are working feverishly with their hammers and screwdrivers, cheerful despite the snow and cold weather. The coffee is brewed every few minutes so they keep the energy up. When the winter season suffered its end, the work will be continued on our new floor.
