About us
The Courtyard is Herefordshire’s Centre for the Arts and the leading arts provider in the county. We have a 436-seat main house, a 120-seat studio theatre, rehearsal rooms, a gallery, meeting spaces and an award-winning cafe bar. The Courtyard has been at the very heart of promoting, producing and supporting theatre and the arts for a decade. Having been specifically designed to provide space as well as entertainment to the community and county we currently host a wide range of non-theatrical events: local AGM’s, regular meetings for the Council, local industry and community groups, conferences for the WI and Conservative Association being some of our most recent.
