La Funtana, in a typical Mediterranean style, is a comfortable hotel recently constructed. Wide spaces, warm atmosphere and accurate service guarantee a relaxed holiday and an authentic experience. The Hotel La Funtana, placed at the entrance of the town, is a few hundred meters far from the lively town center and only 400 mt from the tourist port. The blue of the sea, the rocks dressed by the wind, the small hidden coves, the uncontaminated beaches… These places can charm and astonish, where the perfection of nature contributes to rediscover the ancient relationship between man and creation. The choice of a trip to this Land is coupled with the choice of a residence where helpfulness, politeness and hospitality are customary. Hotel La Funtana has 53 rooms: Standard, Superior and Family room for 3/4 persons.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
