Burg Okayama (Ujo)
Historisches Wahrzeichen
Eine Burg, die von Hideia Ukita, einem Vasallen von Toyotomi Hideyoshi und einem der Fünf Ältesten von Toyotomi, erbaut wurde. Der dreistöckige, sechsstöckige Schlossturm, der eine seltene fünfeckige Skalenform hat, wirkt würdevoll und wird wegen seiner schwarzen Schindelfassade auch ``Ujo“ genannt. Von der obersten Etage aus können Sie Asahikawa von unten sehen und einen 360-Grad-Blick auf den Okayama Korauen Garden und die Stadt genießen. Der ursprüngliche Schlossturm wurde 1945 bei einem Luftangriff niedergebrannt (Showa 20), aber jetzt wurde er wieder aufgebaut, wobei Teile wie das Zimmer des Schlossherren restauriert wurden. Im ersten Stock befindet sich eine Bizen-Werkstatt, in der Sie sich an der Herstellung von Ton versuchen können. Darüber hinaus gewinnt die Veranstaltung ``Ujo Togenkyo“, bei der der Schlossturm der Burg Okayama und die Umgebung im Frühling, Sommer und Herbst beleuchtet werden, an Beliebtheit.
