For after-meeting adventures, Reno Tahoe offers an abundance of incredible and affordable dining options, 24-hour entertainment and breathtaking outdoor activities that include North America’s highest concentration of ski resorts, 50 area golf courses and exploring the mighty Truckee River that runs through the heart of downtown Reno. The numerous nationally-recognized museums and growing communities, like the Midtown and Riverwalk areas, combined with our abundant hospitality, help us beat out many competing destinations. With nonstop service from 16 markets and approximately 120 daily arrivals and departures at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, visitors find that Reno Tahoe is easily accessible. Within an hour's drive, you will find Lake Tahoe, the state capital Carson City, thousands of biking and hiking trails, several lakes that are perfect for fishing and boating, and the entire length of the Truckee River, which runs right through the center of Reno's downtown. Couple those activities with Reno's hotels and casinos, plus a vibrant nightlife scene, and you have the perfect place to put up for a few days and enjoy some recreation. The Truckee River is the centerpiece of the annual Reno River Festival, conveniently located downtown next to an eclectic mix of shops and eateries. Car enthusiasts should visit the National Automobile Museum if they can’t make it to Hot August Nights, Reno’s famous classic-car event. Other nearby attractions include a 8,900+ seat outdoor amphitheater in Sparks, NV and outdoor superstores Cabela’s and Scheels on the outskirts of the city.
