Amtrak The Tacoma Amtrak station, located at 1001 Puyallup Avenue, is open daily from 7:15 AM to 9:30 PM. The station provides access to the Coast Starlight line, which runs daily between Los Angeles and Seattle, as well as the Amtrak Cascades line, which runs between Vancouver and Eugene, Oregon.

Pierce Transit Bus System The regional Pierce Transit bus system operates daily fixed route, paratransit and vanpool transport throughout a 292-square-mile service area, which includes downtown Tacoma. One-way fare is $2 for adults and $0.75 for children ages 6 to 18; children under age 6 ride free. Weekend day passes are also available. Link Light Rail Tacoma's Link Light Rail service provides free transport from one end of downtown Tacoma to another, stopping at six stations, including a dedicated Greater Tacoma Convention & Event Center stop.
