SAT now offers nonstop service to 44 destinations, an increase of nine new destinations and 21 new flights within the past two years. Two terminals serve the public, and 12 airlines serve the airport. Sunset Station Amtrak's Texas Eagle serves the city of San Antonio on the historic Sunset Station site. Located in the St. Paul Square historical district near downtown, it is the 7th busiest stop for the Texas Eagle, traveling daily between Chicago and San Antonio. The route includes major cities such as Austin, Dallas and St. Louis. Connecting service between San Antonio and Los Angeles is available three times a week via the Sunset Limited.
