Navigating Rapid City is easier than you think by riding Rapid Ride. With six routes operated on 35-minute frequencies, this group-friendly bus system ensures seamless travel throughout the area. Rapid Ride takes passengers to school, work, shopping, and recreation destinations, as well as meeting destinations, like The Monument, which is located on the Washington route. Rapid Ride buses run Monday through Friday from 6:20 AM to 5:50 PM and Saturday from 9:50 AM to 4:40 PM. Bus fare is $1.50 per ride; children under the age of 18 ride free.
