With sweeping views of the Hudson, Tarrytown offers a relaxed alternative to New York City. The village displays the rich historic and literary roots of the rich and famous, with Philipsburg Manor, dating from pre-Revolutionary times; Kykuit, the Rockefeller mansion, housing a superb art collection; and Sunnyside, author Washington Irving's country residence.
