Miami Amtrak Station The Miami Amtrak Station runs Amtrak's Silver Service/Palmetto lines, comprised by the Silver Star and Silver Meteor trains that run from New York City to Miami. The Silver Star makes 37 stops in cities including Washington D.C., Raleigh, Savannah, Tampa, and Orlando. The Silver Meteor shares most of its track with the Silver Star, but bypasses Tampa and runs further east through North Carolina and South Carolina. The station is open daily from 5:45 am to 9:30 pm. Amtrak's Silver lines offer two departures from New York daily. Ticket prices range from $115 for a coach seat up to $711 for a two-passenger bedroom.
