STIB: Metro, Bus, and Tram The Societe des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxelles (STIB) operates the public transport network in Belgium, which includes metro lines that connect the eastern and western districts of the city, as well as bus and tram connections. Most routes run daily from 6:00 am to midnight. Managed by the STIB, the Brussels Metro is the quickest and most efficient form of public transport in the city.
