Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) Approximate taxi fare: 1375 ARS Buenos Aires has two airports, Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), also known by the name of its neighbourhood, Ezezia, which is 20 miles south of the city center and has direct flights to the United States (Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, New York City) and Europe (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris and Rome), and Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP), close to the city's largest park, five miles north of the city center on the River Plate and named for a pioneering Argentine aviator, which serves Argentina, as well as the neighboring countries of Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Other transport options include a wonderful, efficient, comfortable, on-time network of coaches that criss-cross the country from Ushuaia in the south to San Salvador de Jujuy and Salta in the northwest and Iguazu waterfall in the northeast. Coaches have "cama" or "semi-cama" designations, but even the "semi-cama" seats recline sufficiently to allow for sleep. Usually these buses travel overnight, and after a bad packed lunch and a so-so film, everyone dutifully goes to sleep. Numerous companies offer such a service.
