Good to know!
The governments of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have successfully eliminated malaria through various investments and public health policies such as universal primary healthcare, targeted malaria interventions, and the use of electronic malaria surveillance systems. Both countries have also implemented measures to protect agricultural workers, who are at risk of malaria due to agricultural irrigation systems. The programs include providing free access to diagnosis and treatment and regularly assessing the use of insecticides for vector control while educating the public on malaria prevention. Read More
