Good to know!
The strategic framework prioritizes country ownership, resilient health systems, equity, and data integration. Key objectives include norms, innovation, strategic information, and leadership, supported by cross-cutting country aid. Strengthened core activities encompass guidance dissemination, new product support, trend tracking, stakeholder alignment, and tailored country assistance. Three initiatives aim to enhance impact: International Programme Officers, expedited elimination efforts, and drug resistance response. Implementation hinges on funding. The strategy underscores the Programme's pivotal role as the global malaria response leader, emphasizing accountability, transparency, and technical deliverables. Read More

I am Mohammad Jamiu Shuaib, currently pursuing my graduate research degree in Biomedical Science at RMIT University, Australia, in Professor Christian Doerig’s research group. Born and raised in Nigeria, I completed my education in the multicultural city of Ilorin, from elementary school to my Bachelor’s degree. From my background training as a veterinary doctor, I learned about blood-borne parasites affecting animals, including trypanosomes babesia and anaplasia, and also malaria.
