GRANTS

Our national grants program will be open for applications from 1 to 31 May 2024 for projects across Australia.

The focus of FutureSteps is to collaborate with organisations to support addressing homelessness through local systemic change and increasing housing supply.

The funding aims to support established charities and community organisations to:

-        Deliver housing projects, including support services to help people who are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless such as skilling, training, and employment programs.

-        Support social and affordable housing projects or programs that address homelessness through systemic change and/or aim to increase the supply of housing within a local community.

We aim to create collaborative partnerships with eligible not-for-profit organisations that:

-        Are undertaking a project that will increase the supply of accommodation for individuals or families experiencing homelessness or housing stress

-        Will be completed within 12 months of receiving funds (around July 2024)

-        Provide volunteering opportunities, and

-        Offer wrap around services that facilitate skilling, capacity building, training and/or employment opportunities for the individuals housed.
