Federal Homelessness Inquiry
The Australian House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs is holding an inquiry on homelessness in Australia.
The Committee is accepting written submissions addressing one or more of the terms of reference. Submissions are to be received by Thursday 9 April 2020.
Q Shelter will be coordinating a submission to the inquiry. We are keen to hear if any providers or services will be making a submission or would like to contribute to the Q Shelter submission.
If you would like to make a contribution this could be in the form of dot points under the TOR, case studies as they relate to a specific TOR, or contributions by current or former clients and tenants. You may also have clients and tenants (current or former) who may wish to make their own submission to the inquiry. Submissions can be confidential.
Contributions are welcome until Friday 27 March as we would then need to finalise the response for consultation and approval.
Please contact Emma Greenhalgh  on (07) 3831 5900 or via email to contribute to this submission.
The terms of reference can be found on the Australian Government Website -
